The Green Line Rivalry Give
Considered one of the top rivalries in all of college sports, the “Battle of Comm Ave.” (also known as the “Green Line Rivalry” after the rail line that connects both campuses) features two of the most tradition-rich college hockey programs battling for supremacy in hockey-crazed Boston. This heated rivalry dates back to 1918 when BC won the first contest, 3-1. These schools have played 295 games after that first contest. To support our Eagles and to honor this tradition, the Friends of the Heights is sponsoring "The Green Line Rivalry Give" to support our athletes in the Name, Image, and Likeness space. Your support matters greatly to our students, coaches, and alumni. It also keeps our team at the top of the ultra-competitive Hockey East Association!

Attending the game on Saturday, January 25th? Be ready to point your phone at the QR code on the videoboards during a designated stoppage in play. You can give at the following levels that commemorate this rivalry.
If you give $68 or more, you are automatically placed in a drawing to win a framed jersey autographed by NHL and BC star goalie Cory Schneider. In March of 2006, Schneider led the Eagles to a 5-0 shutout of BU en route to the Frozen Four. Schneider enjoyed much success in an Eagles uniform, and you can share in that tradition by participating in the Green Line Rivalry Give!
Not able to make it to Conte Forum on Saturday? Don't worry. You can still support our terrific Boston College athletes by making a donation below. Go Eagles!
